we just back home from josiah's last travel tournament of the season. we still have another tournament in july but that is a home tounament. it was so hottt!!! the boys struggled through but they still had a lot of fun. josiah pitched four innings in one game before he was exhausted. he did well though. he played third in another game but that did not take quite the toll that pitching did. he hit 2 for 4 with a walk for the weekend. the team did not win any of their games but they had fun anyway. it was a real bonding time for all them.
playing third base
rachel and my niece kristen enjoying the game. well maybe! i think they just really like to watch the boys playing the game!
we all had a lot of fun! sweating!

Aw, looks like your son had a blast!! I think my son would be good at baseball one of these days, he likes to throw balls (especially at lamps) :) adorable pictures!
Nice pics, and the video. Glad you had a wonderful time, same with your son and the girls! God bless.
Nothing like pictures of hometown baseball to warm an American heart! Sometimes I think there are more lessons in "not winning". Glad they built relationships through it!
Wow...5 children! You are immediately a hero in my eyes!
God bless you!
Awesome pictures....blessings and prayers, andrea
What great pics! I loved out of town tournaments! My daughter played soccer and basketball and it was always so much fun going away to play! You got some great pics!
Blessings to you!
We love baseball so much...but prefer it not too hot. Great pictures. Stay cool!
LOL, "i think they just really like to watch the boys playing the game!"
Probably so! Looks like you guys are having a great summer!
I used to love to play baseball when I was a kid! So much fun!
How fun for your daughter to have a cousin near her age, and watch the boys with, lol!
Great pics! This post brings back memories of when our boys played baseball. Our oldest boy played from the time he began T-ball, continuing through high school. Our youngest played until he got to high school.
We spent many years that the ball field in all kinds of weather...cold, hot, rainy, snowy, muggy, foggy, etc. It was all good times, though! We really miss it...our boys are all grown up, now!
Blessings,
Beth
Ah the joys of baseball! I can smell the sweat all the way in Costa Rica and loving every minute of it.
Thank you dear one, for your kind comments on my blog. This truly is a new adventure so thanks for splashing me today with encouragement straight from His heart.

Those pics of your family are absolutely stunning. What a blessed time, just being together as a family. I love it!
I remember those days so well. Time passes quickly, it just seems like yesterday we were doing this with our son. It's been 7 years since he last played ball in high school and summer league.
Enjoy the memory building.
Blessings.
Ahhhh, baseball! Looks FUN!
Your daughter and niece are both beautiful girls. =0)
Summertime and baseball. A perfect match. Loved the photos. Looks like fun memories made in the heat!
Those are awesome pictures! We've loved watching Alex play baseball this year...so cute when they're little! What a proud momma! He looks great out there! What fun memories :)
Thanks for coming over to meet me. I do appreciate visitors and comments. I think you saw the youth group game time pictures I had shared.
You have two teens and 5 kids all together! Wow! That is so neat that they have a mom & dad like you and Aaron.
I enjoyed reading ten things about you. Congrats on the award/ challenge. Those are fun.
I didn't get to read much. Gotta geta kid ready for a camping trip. That means making cookies for him to take & checking his packing.
I'll be back,

Christy,
We are a baseball family, so I really liked this post. What league does your son play in? I'm guessing Legion? The boys looked big for Babe Ruth. I have coached boys from age 5 to 19 in baseball, and girls from about age 8 to 14 in softball. This is my first year in many to not coach. But I umped!
Watching the pics of your family made me think of my family through the years. I'm glad you are enjoying these years, they are wonderful. Good post. And congratulations on the award.
