"i know you can't hit my fast ball!"

"are you ready for this?"

"here it comes!"

pure determination!!!

"was i right or what?"

pow wow on the mound

great job josiah!!

as i sit in the bleachers and look out on the baseball field to see you playing a game that you love, i feel as if my heart is going to burst because i am so proud of you!!! not for any particular reason, but just because you are mine. you make being a mom a dream come true for me! i love you more than i could ever possibly find a way to express to you. i am so blessed to call you "my son" "my baseball player."

My oldest son asked me yesterday if he can play baseball. He has been obsessed with it lately! The three older kids play all the time in the backyard and we just bought a pink bat for Jessica for her birthday.

It looks like your son knows what he is doing!

What a great post, Christy!!! Your son's really blessed to have you! I know what you mean about feeling proud. Mason just started playing T-ball and I get that same feeling when I see him out there. And those are some really good pics you got! I go crazy with my camera! Oh well, he's gonna grow up and at least I'll have tons of cute little pictures to look back on.

Hope you have a beautiful Mother's Day!!!
