you could see from my viewpoint
then you would find true rest............
"unless you turn and become as little children, you will in no way experience my kingdom." (matthew 18:3)
"are you tired? worn out? burned out on religion? come to me. get away with me and you'll recover your life. i'll show you how to take a real rest..." (matthew 11:28)
the first step toward entering into the kingdom of grace is to become as little children: knowing ourselves utterly ignorant, helpless, humble, teachable, free from selfish ambition, and hanging wholly on our Father for a supply of all our needs and wants. when children are very young, they do not desire authority, they do not regard outward distinctions, they are free from malice, they are teachable and willingly dependent upon their parents. it is true that they soon begin to show other dispositions and other ideas are taught them at an early age. but, if we desire to truly experience His kingdom, we need to be daily renewed in the spirit of our minds, that we may become simple and humble, as little children, and willing to be the least of all.

Oh what a precious little buddy!
So true Christy! God help us trust Him like children trust us. So sincere, so pure.
Amen! Some of my family were just discussing this very thing on Mother's Day....

Great word! It is so true! If only we took on His view point we'd find true rest. WOW! We'd see ourselves and others through the blood of Jesus. Everything is beautiful in His sight!

I've Become My Mother
Your words are true and your little Jacob modeling his mom's point is precious. I want to let go and trust God like that. Thank you so much for praying for our family.

Christy,
What a precious way to incorporate Jacob into this post. I am praying each day to have that child-like faith and openness to speak the truth to anyone I meet.

One of my teens thinks right now I live in a fairy tale world because of my belief. Believe me, it's not a fairy tale world or he wouldn't be talking like that in my fairy tale! However, coming to God like a child means trusting in a happy ending!
I would love your bible version. What is it?
I love your sweet pictures that so get your point across! Beautifully!
A beautiful message. Such a sweet picture :)
Do you think God is speaking to us!!!!
