i want to capture these memories in my mind and heart forever

these are the scenes that i get to enjoy every day right now. as the weather has gotten nicer, jacob heads outside first thing in the morning. so many times, i grab me a cup of coffee, my camera, and my laptop to capture him playing and enjoying his little world. it is the best time of my entire day.

as i watch him play, the Lord reminds me that as my heart swells with joy in watching him have fun and play so carefree, so does His! and then my heart swells some more!

i want to capture these memories in my mind and heart forever!

I miss those moments when they are young and so full of life, not aware of hard thngs can be in this world.

It's obvious that you are well-contented and that your family lavishly loves you. I'm sorry to have missed your birthday, but I pray that your new year of living will be filled with many new memories of love, joy, and the favor of God. You are a beautiful woman of grace.

Agreed! There is nothing that makes a parents heart swell like their children. And, that is just a glimpse of how our Father feels about us!! YEAH!

Great fun in the mornings. I miss his curls!

I love the videos I took of our kids playing. We watch them and just laugh together. I love their little voices.

They learned the Pledge of allegiance when they were about three & it is priceless to hear them say it.

Take care,
Nannette

Oh, those moments are so precious - and that time so fleeting. When you look at your older children, are you like me and see almost two children in one - the child who is in the past - and the almost-adult with you now? And the teen or college student does not want to remember being such a mama's boy, so you have to hold those memories to yourself? Like they are two separate people now? That's how I feel on some days!

I hope you have a blessed day with your little guy tomorrow!
