He collects your tears--tim hutton

Photobucket

"You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book"
(Psalm 56:8, NLT)

do you know how important you are to God? He cares so much about every detail of your life. He cares about your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. in fact, what you are going through is so important to Him that He records every sorrow and collects every tear you've shed. why would God record your sorrows and collect your tears? because He loves you so much, and He is your Vindicator. He's keeping account of every wrong that's ever been done, not so that He can get back at the one who wronged you, but so that He can make up for every single one of them, Himself. He wants to restore everything that has ever been stolen. He wants to heal every single hurt and pain. He sees the longings and desires of your heart, and you can rest knowing that He is working things out for your good! He is a God of redemption! He is redeeming you back to Himself where you belong and where you will find your true identity because He knows that there you will never be hurt again!

so today, know that you are precious to Him. He has your best interest at heart. He is working to bring restoration and peace to you. keep standing, keep believing, and keep doing the right thing because the One who collects your tears will restore every broken place in your life if you let Him!

this ministered so much to me today!!

I think you won a copy of my book (meditations of an autumn heart) from Elaine. Anyway, on page 64-65 I wrote about this scripture. Like you, it really ministered to me when I came across it. I had never read it before that I know of. Good post.

We really get into trouble when we fail to realize the extravagant love of God. Only He can repay for all those hurts! He rewards us when we trust Him to make it all right and He gives us His peace.

Glad you had a great weekend!
Love,
Mary

Wow! It's great to be reminded that nothing gets away from not being noticed by those Holy pair of eyes. But so thankful here...for His unconditional love. Those times He lifted me up when I was feeling deep sorrows...Thank you for this. Have a blessed Holy Week!

Christy,

God loves to work in the details and let us realize in those very small ways just how much we are loved, from the individual hairs on our heads to the tears we cry, nothing could validate what we mean to God.

Hope you stop by as I am hosting weekly giveaways now on my blog.

Love and Hugs ~ Kat

Christy,,,,thank you so much for this post. Today my sister found out that after waiting since November for the baby she was going to adopt to be born, the birth mother decided on the day he was born, 2 days ago, to keep him. My sister is heart broken. And to know what to say is next to impossible. I am going to share these words with her. And I can't wait to go look that verse up in my Bible and underline it. Thanks again...Lisa

Thanks for sharing this Christy! I have always loved that God captures our tears and records them. Isn't that something? It is almost like our tears are liquid prayers.

What a wonderful Father we have.

Bless you! (((hugs)))

I was just praying last week for restoration - after God collected a huge vial of my tears! Raising teens is tough work - but as you said, "Keep standing, keep believeing and keep doing right." What a victory post! Right now I am glimpsing that restoration. Those glimpses are gifts from God!
