hollywood studios---------our vacation day 4

monday morning, we got up bright and early and headed back to hollywood studios. we had a full day of shows to see and rides to ride.

our first stop was the american idol experience. we watched performers who auditioned throughout the day and made the cut to sing in front of the three judges and a live audience. everyone in the audience voted for who they liked the best and the winner got a golden ticket to be at the front of the line to audition before the real american idol judges for this upcoming season.

this was our pick for the winner. i can't remember what his name was. but, remember this face. I think he could make the hollywood cut for this upcoming season. he was a worship pastor from arkansas. this picture was actually taken from the big screen from outside the auditorium because we did not get into the final performance, that was later in the evening. it was at capacity three people before us. what a bummer!!!

after the american idol show, we headed off to our next show.
this was jacob's royal seat, shaded and strolled around while able to recline?
it doesn't get much better than that.

the beauty and the beast show was our next destination.
it was really good!

i think the kids rode this at least a dozen times.

we stopped at some shops to check out the hat selection.

olivia had to try on some birthday hats because, of course, she was turning 13 on friday. 






















toy story mania was the newest attraction there. what a fun time it was!!!!

 

it was a long and exhausting, but very fun day. aaron and i left with jacob about an hour before everyone else who decided to see if they could get into toy story mania one more time. thank God for the buses that ran every 20 minutes to take us back to our resort.
