my circle of friends

quite some time ago, i was given this award from my very sweet friend andrea @ arise to write and also from another wonderful blogging friend, maryleigh @ blue cotton memory.  both of these ladies are such an inspiration to me and have befriended me here in the blogging community where i have developed such a circle of friends with so many wonderful people that i have been totally amazed to be a part of.  these women share their faith through stories, challenges, and messages that God has put on their hearts. their moments of sharing their lives with God bring forth messages I need to hear everyday. i truly feel like i am a part of their lives and they are a part of mine. we pray for each other, we cry when we are hurting and laugh when we are experiencing joy in our lives. to me, that is the best kind of circle of friends that there is!

The rules for this award are:
  • grab the award
  • post it on your blog along with 5 things you love to do
  • and 5 other bloggers you want to recognize
the five things i love to do:
1. i love studying the Word of God
2. i love being with my husband, he makes me laugh so much
3. i love to laugh
4. i love great conversations with my kids and enjoying their lives with them.
5. i love having coffee and/or lunch with my friends.

now, to the important part of this award – the ladies who have become a circle of friends to me. some day i am going to be able to sit down and have lunch and coffee with some of my blogging friends, i just know it and you would be some of the first friends that i would love to circle around a table to laugh and talk with.  the rules are to pick 5. but i am going to have to expand it just a little because i can not just pick 5. i am so pleased to have each of you as part of my life.

first i have to include maryleigh and andrea as they have extended their hand of friendship to me so openly. i would have to say that the others that have reached out their hand of friendship to me and made me feel so accepted and loved are loren, kat, debby, mimi, rosel, adeye, darcie, kristin, and tara. I really would just love it if we could all sit together and fellowship in real life. what a blessing from God that would be. you never know ladies, it just might be possible some day. :)

You have said it so well! We pray, we cry and we laugh - yes, it is the best circle of friends. You've got me all teary here because during this past 6 weeks, the support of my circle of friends in the blogahood literally lifted me and my family up - and you have been such a beautiful, faithful friend.

I love your list, too! Those are some of my very favorite things. For example, I hate watching movies without my husband (unless it's Pride and Prejudice). Nothing is ever as funny as when he's there watching it with me:)

May blessings fall on you like snow flakes:) (That's a heap lot of blessings:)

Christy, thank you so much for this award. I think this is the 3rd one you've given me recently and I'm planning an award post this week. You are just the sweetest and I promise I would do everything in my power to get to meet you if there was ever a real possibility. I def. consider you to be a part of my circle of friends and am so honored to be considered in yours as well.

Congratulations sister Christy and thank you for sharing this with me! Thank you for your friendship. You had explained it so well of what it means to have these awesome friends and sisters in Christ here in this blogosphere.

Glory be to God that we became a blessing to each other! I love that word "circle"...No beginning...No end...Like the Lord Who holds us all together. God bless you and have a great week!

Christy,

I think God is in the works for something big and wouldn't it be great if it were to get all of us together for a weekend retreat? Hmm, may have to check into seeing how that might be possible.

Congratulations and thank you so much for passing this along to me as well. You have come full circle!

That is a very nice award and you have certainly met some very nice ladies there.

It would be so cool to meet and sit down with many of these bloggy friends.

Maybe you will someday. That would be the real award or reward. Friends are such a gift. I cherish mine.

Have fun,
Nannette

My blog friendships are among the best things that ever happened in my life.

And you are so right in saying that our circle of friends has added so much fun to our lives, women (and men!) that we would love to circle around a table to laugh and talk with. I love your list, mine would be similar to that.

Congratulations on your award! You have really spread a lot of love and cheer and goodwill on Blog Land!
