UPDATE
these are the actual little nuggets of love made by me
i left some of the cookies undecorated so the kids could join in on the fun. the little surprise in each one of them was an andes mint.
amanda loved it!
rachel made this one for jacob
jacob was enthralled with the candy heart sprinkles
the verdict is in: YUMMY!
angel thought so too! now we know why we can't get her to lose weight
everyone needs some little nuggets of love once in awhile!
Mint Candy Cookies
1 pkg 17.5 oz sugar cookie mix
Andes candies
Cookie icing
Heart candy sprinkles
Prepare the cookie dough according to the package direction. Cover and chill for 15-20 minutes or until easy to handle. Pat a heaping tablespoon of dough in a thin layer around each mint candy. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes or until set. Cool for one minute before removing from pans.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE Andes Mints. I could eat a whole package of those things so I know they are good inside a warm cookie. Jacob does just like Andrew...always feeding the dog!
This made me SMILE>>>
How fun! I really like the one of Jacob feeding your pooch! :O)
Sweet, sweet, sweet! They look like they're having a great time.
