many people from our church volunteered to help with everything that was necessary to make the people who came feel special and loved and to help everything run smoothly
hair and make up were offered for those who desired that opportunity.
here, josh is doing his masterful work
time to show the finished product on the computer for them to choose their favorite pose
we gave away so many books. the kids seemed to really love them.
as all of these things took time, there were many people on hand to love on and entertain the kids as they waited for their turn.
pastor andy took a special liking to this little boy
jessica aaron could not get enough of this little girl
rachel loved hanging out with the kids and playing games with them while they waited on their parents
some of the little girls wanted to play beauty shop and she so sweetly obliged them
it was a wonderful experience. i loved observing so many people enjoy the opportunity that was presented to them and accept a loving token of some pampering and a professional photograph. there were many who were so appreciative and some who had never had a professional picture ever taken before. before the day was over, there were around 90 photographs that were taken and given to those who took the time for God to bless them that day. i was overwhelmed with the great feeling that arises when you know that God has just touched some of these people's lives forever.

Hi Dear Friend,
What a wonderful thing for the photographers to offer their services and for you and so many others donating their time, love and attention to give back to the community. I just love it! The pictures speak for themselves. What a blessing all of you were.
Love you,
Alleluiabelle
WOW, my friend--that is SUCH a fabulous way to give back. What stunning pics of so many people pitching in and serving...that's what it's all about--giving back!
I absolutely love it.
Christy, that is another beautiful and wonderful idea!!! Wow, I think our church could learn alot from yours, as this is really our first Christmas season as a congregation. These are the kind of things that my heart just yearns to do! What a beautiful family that one picture was. I know you must have blessed everyone so much by doing that! Thank you so much for sharing.
This is so awesome. I am serious...what a wonderful idea and outreach. You are so blessed to be involved in so many ministries at your church and in your community. You truly are His hands extended.
BEAUTIFUL!
That is so wonderful! I can only imagine how special all the people that came felt like when they left. Beautiful, cherished, and loved! Wonderful!!!
What a beautiful ministry. It just goes to show that no matter what you do in this life, you can give your talents for God's glory.
There was a church in our area that did this very thing. What a simple and yet profound ministry. Truly, it doesn't take much to touch the heart of another.
Shalom,
Denise
What great fun! It goes well beyond a mere snapping of photos, adding touches of beauty to both face & heart.
I love how those generous people gave so much of themselves in such a touching way. Love all the pictures. The little girls playing beauty shop is just adorable.
What an incredible, loving gift to the community; you were putting some flesh on our Jesus yesterday. Thank you for taking the time to give out rather than take in.
AWESOME!

Ok, I have tears! So many sweet people blessing others and being blessed! Wouldn't it be great if our newscasts were filled with this kind of news instead of all the bad? Thank you all for such amazing acts of kindness and love!!
Oh, what an absolutely AWESOME gift!!! That is such a blessing to those people. Wow. I'm speechless, except still typing...
Love it!
What a wonderful way to put smiles to so many people by showing your faith through your actions. May the Lord bless you [and your church] more!
Christy,
Oh how I wished more people did this to help those that can't afford even the smallest of things like a Christmas photo.
Thank you for all you continue to share!
Love and Hugs ~ Kat

What a wondeful gift!!
What a unique way to show God's love to others. I love it!
That is awesome. I have never heard of that being done before, but what a wonderful idea, especially this time of year!
It is so amazing that when you bless people you find that they bless you right back.
What an awesome way to bless someone! And fun, too. And then to get a picture as a keepsake...love this idea!
Have a blessed Christmas, Christy!
