there is a time and a place for everything!
is there?
time?
what is that anyway?
24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in an hour, 60 seconds in a minute
we schedule our lives by it! but why?
is there really a time for everything?
is there really a place for everything?
is it all decided for us?
or do we decide?
it seems we are in fast forward motion trying to figure it all out!
how do we know it is the time or the place?
everything that happens can be second guessed if there is truly only one time or one place for everything
what if it passes us by?
if we miss that time or place, do we just miss that experience?
or is there another time and place to arrive later?
if so then there really isn't a time and place for everything.
or are we given a liftime of opportunities that come our way and we get to decide the ride we take?
is there a time and place for everything?
deep thoughts......

Too deep for me!! In the big scheme of things, our time here on this Earth is just a drip anyway.
Have a great week.
I have been feeling as if everything in time and my life lately has been sort of fitting into place like a jigsaw puzzle and I LOVE it!!!
I think so but then you got me thinking. That is not a good thing to get me thinking Christy. LOL
Hugs,
Mimi
I'm just thankful that in God there is really a time and a place for everything so I trust His Perfect timing and Perfect placement of everything in my life and I know when I'm getting off track, out of balance and worrying about things I should be and it is then He reminds me to trust Him and His timing and purpose for everything.
Love you and thanks for stirring the thought juices.
That is some deep reading only 10 minutes after getting out of bed but I like Lisa's answer.
i'm with tara. lol.
great post!!
Time? We always seem to be running out of time! And I'm glad that's no problem with God. So, I choose to trust in His perfect timing!!! Great thought provoking post! Have a great week sister! God bless.
I am trying to enjoy the time I have more.
Have a wonderful day.
Yes, I do believe there is a time and a place for everything.
I thank God daily for giving me time with my family and friends and pray that I have lots and lots of time to give back.
Have a great day.

Huuummmmmm.... lots to ponder here! :)

Good thoughts! The first thing that came to mind is Ecclesiastes 3 Or, yk, the song by the Byrds. ;-)
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
Also verse 17: "God will bring to judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time for every deed."
*shrug* Dunno. It's just what came to mind!
I am with heidi, Ecclesiates 3 came to my mind. The Bible tells us there is a time. But I think we get so busy with our lives and other things going on time just slips by and before we know it its gone. I am not sure what the solution is, maybe we (talking about me) are not taking enough time is His word. I know I for one when I sit down to read my Bible, before I start, I am thinking ok when I get done with this I need to do this and this and this. So are we/I really making time for His word or am I just fitting it in. Thanks for your post Christy... Praying for you! And you got me to thinking...
until next time... nel
sorry I removed the last one had the wrong name in there... brain fart!
Great post. Thanks for the nudge to stop and think and reflect for a bit!
Very deep thoughts. Love the clouds passing buy with the clocks moving arms. I believe in Gods time for us. As far as living by the clock we have to in today's world but living a life from sun up to sun down would have been an awesome way to live back in the day.
My time is in His hands....and may I trust that I'm in the right place at the right time every day.
This is deep! We definitely live in a rat-race type society. Go here, go there, hurry, hurry, hurry. Sometimes I wish I lived back to when people took the time and had the time to really enjoy life.
Very thought-provoking. My biggest fear (in this regard)is forgetting. It is like time is spinning on and on and I am scrambling to record as much as I can. I guess to save what I can.
Very good questions...and I liked Lisa'a answer, too....
Uh... yeah, I'm thinking that if you chose not to do things that God has planned for you sometimes you just miss out.
Im with RaD. I just keep praying and moving fwd. Thought peovokin post and that clock is def. my life!! xoxo LA
Wow, those are some serious deep thoughts!! It just makes you really want to take advantage of every precious moment, doesn't it?
Deep thoughts! Great post
kim
WOW.....just wow.
This leaves me with so much to think about. Especially after hearing of a few people who left this earth suddenly these past few weeks....really makes you think.
Great post, Christy!
Hmmmmmmmm............
I wonder.............
It's something to think about. But if we think about it too much, then time is just gonna slip away from us and we'll get nowhere.
I still wonder though.............
Great post Christy!
For myself, I am giving up control. Even though it looks to the naked eye like God has not fulfilled His promises (to me) I choose to believe no matter how it looks, His will prevails!
When my life gets out of whack and I take control...I live my life by the clock feeling validated or crushed by what I achieve. Eventually that completely wears me out and I remember I'm here for a purpose...to be God's hands and feet. That shifts all of the busyness of life to its rightful place and then I'm just a child of God again...learning how to love my family, friends and the world with His compassion.
"Come ride a little train that is goin' down the tracks to the Junction...Petticoat Junction." Yeah I loved that show too!
Good questions! I have some plans. But I try to accept that God has it all figured out and His timing is perfect. I am thankful I don't have to have it all figured out.
Okay...I'm thinking so hard that I got a headache! lol
All I know is that there never seems to be enough time in the day to accomplish everything.
I think there is.. but like Beth, there never seems to be enough...
According to God's watch, I'm guessing He makes time for what He wants accomplished. He's sovereign. I don't do the best of managing my clock. But then again, I rest each night trusting God with my lack.
Love the questions...
Hugs.
Can it be both?
Christy Rose,
Good questions. You have a lot of good answers here, too. Like Lisa and Tiffany, I think we need to trust God with timing. I try to schedule my day, but when something is finished is often not in my control. I know I missed a meeting the other day and then wished I'd been there to address a hot item that came up. But, just thinking about it got me a bit upset, so I figured it was God's timing that I NOT BE there b/c I might have said something I would have regretted later.
Anyway, good discussion starter here. wb
I love any opportunity to get me thinking! Awesome post.
Thanks so much for your prayers and support. It really means so much to me :)
Deep thoughts, indeed. In fact, so deep that the church has been split into many different denominations because of some of the answers reached to these questions.
I'm more content to live with some mystery and to concede "time" to the One who created it.
I just love a woman who thinks deeply... we are kindred spirits, friend.
peace~elaine
God says there is a time for everything under the sun. However, I often find myself impatient, wanting time to pass more quickly or wanting it to move more slowly. Thankfully, the Lord has PERFECT TIMING!!
Thank you so much for continuing to stop by often and for your prayers. They truly mean so much to me.
You are an amazing friend!
Blessings,
Teresa <><
God has been impressing on me lately that our time on earth is but a blink, but is an important blink.
