the theme in this passage of Scripture seems to be "one." you know that you can not divide one and still have a whole. you might have two halves or three thirds etc., but you will never have a whole again.
"the LORD our God is one LORD" ( deuteronomy 6:4)
"a man leaves his father and mother and the two are joined into one." (genesis 2:24)
"for we have become one with Him by sharing a death like His, and we shall also be one with Hm in sharing His resurrection. (romans 6:5)
"for we, no matter how numerous we are, are one body in Christ." (I corinthians 10:17)
ONE!!!!!

We can't imagine what the Church could do if it were ONE!
The Lord must have spoken about this to our hearts today sister. It must have hurt Him so much to see people, especially His children, not united. Thank you for reminding us to look up to the One Whose love holds us together in unity. God bless sister and have a great week. I forgot to tell you, I like the new look! :)
Love to you sister Christy.
Christie,
I love this that we are nothing alone but God is everything as ONE!

Dear Christy,
There is power in ONE - one voice, one heart, one love, one strategy, one vision...

Love finding Christian blogs. We are Christians, although we don't classify our blog as one. We talk about life and it comes out here and there. Here from FF. Happy to find you. Come by for a visit. We blog/vlog. Sometimes we are serious, often we are funny…hope it’s your cup of tea. Have a great day. Holly:)
Strange how our world is willing to relinquish God's "oneness" with other gods.
How grateful I am today to "know that I know that I know"! We're on the side of truth, sister. Keep to it this weekend.

Unity in the body of Christ is a calling on my life.
Yes, we are one! And when one of us says or acts inappropriately, we are still one!!!
The cross offers forgiveness of sin, but yet so many Christians think that if one offense arises, cast off the Christian in the same way we could pluck out our eye...WRONG! Our Savior has long-suffering for us, and so we should extend forgiveness and acceptance to others - even those who don't agree with us!
Amen!! I love this post! I'm your newest friend from Friday Follow. We, too, are trying to honor the Lord in all that we do - as one. I'd love for you to check out my blog sometime. Hope you have a wonderful weekend planned.
