it was a happy birthday kind of day

yesterday was my sweet husband's birthday. we celebrated with the kids and his mom first.
the look on his face here makes it look like he might have thought his new belt was a snake.

jacob only wanted tools for Christmas, so every present that was opened he asked if it was tools.

checking out some lottery tickets that aaron's brother got him for his birthday. one $5.00 winner out of 10 tickets.  Amanda was watching with great curiosity as aaron was pretending to be a big winner.

can't have a birthday without cake



we also told aaron's mom that we were going to have another baby this night. i wish i would have had the camera on her when we told her so that we could have gotten the expression on her face captured for his baby book. it was priceless.

then, we continued the celebration by going out to alexander's, aaron's favorite steak house, with some friends. we all had a great time!

it was a happy birthday kind of day!!

    I loved your commentary on the "snake" picture. I had to chuckle because at first, I wasn't sure what it was but thought it was a belt. Glad he had a great birthday.

    Fun stuff! My hubby's birthday was the 6th and he got a belt too. LOL!
